Disneyland's Jungle Cruise is set for a major overhaul, with construction permits filed for a range of improvements. The Adventureland attraction, a fan favorite, will undergo structural repairs, including updates to rockwork and plumbing. The work will also involve removing and reinstalling posts with new footings, and adding leak prevention to an existing hatch door.
The construction is expected to take place during an upcoming closure of the ride, which will be closed from February 17th for an undisclosed period. This follows a previous temporary closure in 2026. Despite these closures, Disney has not announced any significant changes to the Jungle Cruise, which underwent a reimagining in 2021, incorporating cultural sensitivity changes. Interestingly, Disney recently introduced the first 3D-printed prop to the attraction, adding a modern twist to the classic experience.
